Parts Counter Assistant

We are looking for an energetic Parts Counter Person that is able to develop and maintain excellent customer relationships.

Job Summary

  • Taking orders over the phone, helping customers with orders, answering questions about our products 
  • Assisting customers at the parts counter identifying needed parts, using parts catalogs and pricing items and entering invoices.
  • Getting freight quotations for shipments and processing shipments
  • Following up phone calls with customers
  • Handling customer service issues
  • Answering customer emails
  • Keeping counters, shelves, aisles and customer service areas clean and organized.
  • Administrative tasks 
  • Assisting parts manager with all inventory related tasks including pricing, physical inventory, warranty and shipping and receiving.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Friendly and courteous with customers and coworkers

  • Good verbal and written English skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to work without supervision

Full Time Service Technician position

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on agricultural equipment and compact equipment.
  • Review and advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Assemble new equipment and install new components.
  • Accurate and timely recording of time and materials used.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and techniques.
  • Commitment to a safe working environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and work well in a team environment

Skills and Qualifications

  • Licensed Agricultural Equipment technician preferred
  • Will consider similar trades or mechanical ability and experience.
  • Good time management and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Computer literate, and able to utilize and learn new technology

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent is a minimum.
  • Previous experience as an agricultural or heavy equipment technician is preferred
  • Valid driver's license
